The main fields of work for plus the edge are research, processional technical solutions, studies, business management, and consultancies. About the Role As part of the Plus the Edge team in Iraq, the Project Manager will be responsible for carrying out activities related to the project in Iraq. The Project Manager will provide technical support to and close monitoring of the implementing partners to ensure program deliverables are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the field teams and oversee the implementations and direction of the project in Iraq, according to the Plus the Edge requirements and quality standard in all programs.

• Provides weekly update and monthly progress reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, successes and challenges.

• Facilitate fluid communication and exchange of information between all project stakeholders.

• Documents/collects project success stories to ensure visibility of the project.e

• Reviews monthly reports from the teams and provide inputs on the content and the reporting skills.

• Oversee the development of weekly and monthly workplans and close follow ups with the workplans.

• Coordinate with trainers and facilitators for planning workshops and trainings.

• Review trainings and workshops materials prior to the workshops and trainings.

• to set up a solid plan for conducting them.

• Follow up with trainers and participants for pre post-tests, feedbacks, and evaluation if needed

• Pay attention to security and safety measures and inform participants and team about them when visiting the field/sites of intervention.

• Ensure that the M&E data collected verified the program outputs as per the PPA requirements. Supervising assessment, analyzing data and maintaining the integrity of the data by ensuring that all information is captured within an appropriate datasheet and reports are provided in a usable format.

• Facilitate all coordination with relevant stakeholders and getting approval of conducting events.

• Maintain active cooperation with local partners, I/NGOs and other stakeholders.

• Over the project implementation in accordance with the project budge and plans.

• Represent Plus the Edge in all public event and workshops.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years of project management experience

• University/College qualification in the relevant field

• Proficiency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic, both written and oral.

• Willingness and fitness to travel and stay in the field for sustained periods of time

• Experience with running assessments, monitoring and evaluation and other learning efforts

• Ability to work under pressure and to cope with high workload

• Demonstrated training and facilitation skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to keep staff motivated and achieve results

• Strong analytical, managerial, and organizational skills.

• Experience of long distance (remote) management and management tools
