Traders can trade with Gold, Copper and Silver. And Also, the four major types of oil including West Texas intermediate (WTI), Brent, OPEC and Natural Gases. The most common item of exchange is the shares of the companies in those markets. In Iraq in 1992 the Iraq Stock Exchange was established that was related to the central bank then in 2003 the stock was reestablished. Market capitalization increased from (1.1) billion dollars in 2004 to (9.6) billion dollars in 2013. Many factors affect such market, including political and economic environments. The price of the companies’ shares changes dramatically with political or economic events. But after ISIS the market doing well since the Iraq Stock Exchange benchmark ISX index is up about 10% this year, ahead of other similar frontier markets that are up 0.6%, according to index provider MSCI Inc.
Even Though, the market is not fully electronic but securities brokerage such as Rabee security can facilitate for the transaction, and it is considered as a new career path for many people.
